About The Event
Delayed due to COVID, but now back on. We are currently looking for volunteers to support this event in the fall. This is the first event of its kind at The National Museum of the Marine Corps. Volunteers will conduct a brief "battle study' style presentation covering the logistics of a campaign or battle of their choosing.
LtGen James Kessler (ret), Pesdient and CEO of the Marine Corps Heritage Foundation (and former Marine Corps Installations Command, Commanding General) will provide AMCL members opening remarks as we look at the Museum tour, focused on logistics support through our long and illustirous history.
We plan to visit Tun Tavern for some cammraderie building following the tour. This event is open to AMCL Members and their guests. MajGen Kessler's bio can be found at: https://www.marineheritage.org/our-leadership.html
